The Bobagunwa Independent Campaign Council (BICC), a political movement rooting for Dr. Victor Ategbole as the next House of Representatives member for Akoko South-East and South-West Federal Constituency, has expressed delight over the recent commendations showered on the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, by two of Nigeria’s most respected elder statesmen, Pa Reuben Fasoranti and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a statement released by the group’s Director General, Dr. Akeredolu O. N., the BICC said it is deeply encouraged by the words of affirmation coming from elder statesmen of such high integrity, noting that both Pa Fasoranti and Chief Obasanjo are known for their honesty, patriotism, and their refusal to flatter public officers unnecessarily.
“The recent accolades showered on His Excellency Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa by Pa Reuben Fasoranti and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo are not mere political compliments — they are a testament to visible progress, purposeful leadership, and the positive direction in which Ondo State is moving,” Dr. Akeredolu stated.
He described the recognition as a reflection of good governance and steady performance, noting that the Aiyedatiwa administration has maintained focus on stability, economic revival, and the welfare of the people, despite the many challenges that often confront state leadership.
“When elder statesmen like Pa Fasoranti and Chief Obasanjo, who have seen generations of leaders come and go, openly commend the leadership of our governor, it should be clear to all that something right is being done in Ondo State,” the statement added.
The BICC noted that the remarks from these national icons further validate the confidence that citizens and stakeholders already have in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, and serve as motivation for continued support toward his administration’s developmental goals.
“We in BICC are proud to align with a governor whose leadership continues to attract the admiration of credible voices across the nation. These accolades are not just praises — they are our testament that the Aiyedatiwa administration is indeed working and making Ondo State proud,” Dr. Akeredolu said.
The group further reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, progress, and responsible political engagement in Ondo State, pledging to continue supporting initiatives that foster sustainable development under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration.
