Actress Doyin Kukoyi has dismissed speculations about a romantic relationship with veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, clarifying that the rumors stemmed from a movie role they both played.
Speaking in an interview on Nollywood on Radio, Kukoyi explained that the buzz began after she posted a photo from a film set where she and Ogogo acted as a married couple whose daughter was getting married.
“I was at a movie location with Ogogo, we both played the roles of husband and wife. We took a picture, and I shared it on social media. Some people then assumed we were married. Till today, many still believe I’m Ogogo’s wife,” she said.
Kukoyi, who has spent over 30 years in Nollywood, also reflected on her career, noting that her first media experience began at Daar Communications before fully venturing into acting.
