NAF airstrike neutralizes over 15 Terrorists in Zuwa hideout

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, through the Air Component under the Joint Task Force North-East of Operation Hadin Kai, OPHK, neutralized over 15 terrorists at a newly identified terrorist enclave west of Zuwa in the Sambisa general area.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, in a statement on Thursday morning said while acting on intelligence and confirmatory surveillance, the mission targeted hideouts harbouring fighters and commanders responsible for recent hostilities around Bitta.

The statement further said apart from the over 15 terrorists being neutralized, the air strike also demolished key structures critical to their operations.

It said the success demonstrated NAF’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives, property, and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure across the country.
